The College of Nursing, University of Saskatchewan invites applications from qualified individuals for a full time, tenure track, Academic Programming faculty position at the either the Assistant or Associate Professor level, depending on the candidate. We are seeking professional, innovative, and team-oriented faculty to join our community of scholars, pushing the boundaries of nursing knowledge and education to meet the dynamic needs of our students. We are interested in receiving applications from individuals who have demonstrated expertise as a Nurse Practitioner in Acute Care and/or Primary Health Care (Family All Ages). Evidence of contributions to scholarship, practice, teaching, research and/or leadership are considered additional assets.

The College of Nursing specializes in community-engaged health and nursing, health equity, and health systems and education research. We seek to be leaders in innovative technologies related to teaching and learning. Our “Learn Where You Live” approach to nursing education delivery is unique in Western Canada. We foster the development of rural and remote nursing education, interprofessional education, and Indigenous collaboration. Requirements

The primary responsibility of Academic Programming (AP) is that of teaching. Academic Programming (AP) candidates must have a minimum of Masters preparation and experience teaching in a nursing program. Faculty in this position will have primary responsibility of teaching in the Nurse Practitioner programs and professional practice and scholarship associated with teaching and learning. Candidates must also be registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan, as a Nurse Practitioner. The 2022-23 salary band for this position is Assistant Professor: $99,945 to $120,099; Associate Professor: $120,099 to $140,253.
