Description

Pepstep is a startup virtual care clinic focused on helping patients achieve and maintain their weight loss goals. The clinic seeks to meet the high demand for new weight loss medications as part of a comprehensive weight loss plan. Working with a team of skilled health and admin professionals you will help deliver the best possible care and weight loss results to our patients.

As we launch, we are looking for a part-time remote (i.e work from home) Nurse Practitioner. This position will be remote and allow for the flexibility to determine your own schedule for seeing patients.

Summary : The Nurse Practitioner will work with our Medical Director and Admin Staff to help patients through their weight loss journey.

Responsibilities:
– Provide weight loss care and prescriptions for patients who meet the program requirements
-Initial patient intakes and visits
-Screening to determine eligibility (program eligibility criteria will be provided) for the program including lab work and patient medical history
– Work with our medical team to guide patients through the program
– Work with the Telus Health EMR
– Proper documentation and record keeping to comply with medico-legal responsibilities

Requirements

– Active practice registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
– Proof of practice insurance
– license in multiple provinces (not required)
