The NP working with the Neurosurgery, supports neurosurgery patients at the FMC.

These outpatient clinics and units provide care to patients who have are suffering from neurosurgical disorders through a collaborative multidisciplinary team including Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Health Care Aides, Clinical Nurse Educators, Nurse practitioners, Allied health professionals, fellows, and physicians. All disciplines work together to provide holistic care to the patient and their families.

As an NP, you will perform advanced, focused and/or comprehensive health assessments and interventions, as well as order, interpret and perform diagnostic tests to formulate differential diagnoses and management plans through the integration of patient information and evidence-based practice. This will be done in collaboration with the attending physician, residents, and medical students.
