DESCRIPTION:It is estimated that 1 in 5 Canadians live with chronic pain. While opioids were once heavily promoted for the management of chronic pain\, these powerful medications can cause serious harm and not recommended for long-term use. \n\n\n\nIn October’s Choosing Wisely Talks\, we’ll discuss options for managing chronic pain using the PEER’s Simplified Chronic Pain Guideline. Drs.
