Description

The Nurse Practitioner is an advanced practice nurse with knowledge and skills gained through advanced academic preparation and experience. The Nurse Practitioner practices by blending an in-depth knowledge of advanced nursing practice with the legal authority and autonomy as outlined in legislation, regulation, CRNS Bylaws, regulatory requirements, and best practices. The Nurse Practitioner will provide care and services at the Urgent Care Centre within their full scope of practice and competencies for clients both independently and collaboratively with a physician(s) and the healthcare team. As health care professionals, they participate in self and peer review to evaluate the outcome of their services at the patient, community, and population level.

Requirements

Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree/ Diploma in Nursing
Advanced Cardiac Life Support
Nurse Practitioner Program
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Nurse Practitioners

Experience:
Minimum of 3 years experience as a Registered Nurse in primary care, public health or acute care

Pay, Incentives, and Benefits:
Wages: $52.59/hr – $62.91/hr
Hiring Incentive and Relocation up to $19,000
May be eligible for the Rural and Remote Incentive of $50,000
May be eligible for the Nurse Practitioner Relocation Grant of $40,000
