Becoming an NP in Canada

In Canada, in order to practice as a Nurse Practitioner you must have a license for the province where you are providing care.  NPs are licensed and regulated by each individual provincial regulatory college. You need to apply to the provincial college for the province(s) you are planning to practice in. If you plan to offer virtual care across provinces you require licensure in each province where you will provide care. Each province has their own processes and requirements for NP licensure.
