We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Vernon Urgent & Primary Care Centre (UPCC) within a group contract model, offering flexible yet consistent scheduling between 0.5 – 1.0 FTE. This role focuses primarily on longitudinal care for attached patients, with some same-day and urgent care access built into the practice. Casual opportunities are also available, providing a blend of urgent and longitudinal care. Shifts may be 4, 8, or 12 hours and are available across days, evenings, and weekends, with additional opportunities for telehealth visits. The Vernon UPCC is well supported by a full multidisciplinary team, creating a collaborative and sustainable work environment.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing (NP) or equivalent.
- Current Nurse Practitioner certification with the applicable regulatory body.
- Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting, with the ability to
diagnose, treat, and manage patient care is considered an asset.
