Requirements

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:
• Current Registration in the extended class in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Master’s degree in Nursing or equivalent
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Ontario
• Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support
• Current CPR

ASSETS:
• Minimum of 4 to 7 years of diverse clinical and nursing leadership experience
• “Certificate in Hospital & Acute Care for Nurse Practitioners” from the University of Toronto, or equivalent
• Bilingual

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous education
• Ability to work in a team environment with excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills in both written and verbal
• Ability to identify, develop and lead the successful implementation of best practice skills in the provision of clinical care
SALARY RANGE:
• $69.85 – $78.88 per hour
