We are seeking locum Community Health Nurses, Nurse’s in Charge, and Nurse Practitioners in Fort Resolution, Northwest Territories. If you’ve been interested in working in Canada’s Arctic, but you’re not sure about a long-term commitment, this is the opportunity for you! About the Work and Benefits
Join the nursing team who provide a combination of non-emergency and emergency care that require decision making outside of usual policies/procedures. Come experience a broad scope of practice from day-to-day, as well providing care throughout the community.

Wages range from
Community Health Nurse – $53.80 to 64.26
Nurse in Charge – $56.29 to 67.23
Nurse Practitioner – $61.63 to 73.62
plus an hourly stipend of $7.87/per hour to offset the cost of living in Fort Resolution. Travel costs are also paid, with accommodations covered and/or partially offset for longer locums.

Opportunities are available immediately and over the next few months.

Requirements

Typically these positions require the successful completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and 2 years experience for RN locums and an Master’s in Nursing and 2 years experience for NP locums.
