The Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority (NTHSSA) – Beaufort Delta Region operates the Inuvik Regional Hospital and serves Inuvik and 7 other arctic communities including Aklavik, Fort McPherson, Paulatuk, Sachs Harbour, Tsiigehtchic, Tuktoyaktuk, and Ulukhaktok. Nurse Practitioners provide comprehensive community health programs and provide direct nursing care to patients and clients in Tuktoyaktuk and Fort McPherson.

Annual salaries range from $130,260.00 – $155,590.50 for Nurse Practitioners, plus $46,198 – $70,136.00 in additional paid benefits within the first year. The Beaufort-Delta Region is home to the northern-most communities in the Northwest Territories.
