The School of Nursing, Master of Nursing – Nurse Practitioner program requires the services of a Subject Matter Expert to teach the theory in NURS 5310. All classes are offered in a virtual environment.

The focus of NURS 5310 is on examining the social, economic, political, and ethico-legal issues that influence the professional and intra-professional roles of nurse practitioners as advanced practice nurses.

Requirements

PhD (or equivalent) is preferred
MNNP qualification is required
Current NP registration in a Canadian jurisdiction in good standing without limits or conditions, and/or eligibility for registration with BCCNM
Three (3) years full time or equivalent in the role of a Nurse Practitioner
Evidence of continuous learning in your area of nursing
An understanding of, and experience in, the Canadian healthcare system
