Topic: What it takes to publish a journal article
Speaker: Roberta Heale, NP, DNP, PhD, MSCP
Roberta Heale, NP, DNP, PhD, MSCP is a full professor at Laurentian University and a practicing Nurse Practitioner (NP) with 26 years of clinical experience. She is the founder of the Virtual Menopause Clinic, established in 2022, where she provides specialized care for individuals navigating menopause.
Dr. Heale has extensive editorial experience, having contributed to Evidence-Based Nursing and Diversity of Research and Health. She also developed and served as Editor-in-Chief of the Nurse Practitioner Open Journal, which has since transitioned to the journal of the Nurse Practitioner Association of Canada (we can change the name when it’s confirmed by NPAC)
Beyond her clinical and editorial work, Dr. Heale is actively involved in NP organizations, supervises graduate students, and conducts research focused on NP practice and education. She is dedicated to advancing NP knowledge and resources, many of which are available at www.Roberta-Heale.com.
