Dr. Roberta Heale will be presenting virtually at the Dalhousie NP Journal Club (DNPJC) this month. Roberta Heale has been a primary health care NP in Ontario for almost 25 years. She has practiced in a variety of settings, most recently as owner of the Virtual Menopause Clinic Roberta is a passionate advocate of the NP role. She was a co-founder of Canada’s first Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic in Sudbury, Ontario. She was the first President of the Nurse Practitioner Association of Canada. Through her position at Laurentian University, Roberta has taught NPs and conducted research related to NP education, policy, and practice for the past 2 decades. Her current interests are in the NP: patient relationship and NP Burnout.
