Provincial and Territory Awards of Excellence

Nominations for the Provincial and Territory Award of Excellence are Open

The Nurse Practitioner Association of Canada Provincial and Territory Award of Excellence, comprised of two separate awards, are granted annually to deserving nurse practitioners (NPs) and NP students.

The NP Provincial and Territory Award of Excellence is given to an individual NP in each province and territory who has demonstrated excellence in clinical practice, leadership, advocacy, research, or education and has shown efforts to advance the image, profile, and visibility at the provincial and territory level.

The NP Student Provincial and Territory Award is given to an individual NP student in each province and territory, who has demonstrated outstanding achievement in clinical practice, leadership, advocacy, research, or education and has shown efforts to promote advanced practice nursing.

NPAC membership is not required to be nominated for either award; however only current NPAC members can nominate candidates by completing and submitting the nomination form no later than: October 23, 2023. Individuals may not nominate themselves for an award.

Recipients will be recognized during 2022 NP Week, November 12-18, 2023.
