NPAC-AIIPC represents NPs across Canada through provincial block partnerships and individual membership opportunities.

NPAC-AIIPC partners with the leading researchers and other stakeholders to advocate for  NP issues including role development and evolution, education, policy development, pertinent legislation changes to name a few.

NPAC-AIIPC members benefit from resources and linkages through the Members section of the NPAC-AIIPC website.

NPAC-AIIPC creates global linkages through membership with the Nurse Practitioner / Advanced Practice Nursing Network (INP/APNN); an affiliate of the International Council of Nurses.

Membership Types

Regular Member:

A member with full voting and membership privileges is a nurse practitioner who:

Associate Member:

A member who does not hold voting privileges and is a

Honorary Life Member:

A member with full voting and membership privileges except the right to hold office. Honorary Membership shall be granted to a Regular member:

Block Member:

Regular membership (full voting privileges) is conferred on all individuals who join NPAC-AIIPC via block membership AND meet Regular Member qualifications. Block membership is acquired through a Provincial/Territorial Partnership or through a Block Membership application.

Small Group Membership:

Small group memberships are a good option for groups without the ability to join via a provincial partnership agreement comprising  a group that functions as a professional community in their workplace or geographic region Functioning as a professional community would include involvement  in some form of nurse practitioner planning/education as a group prior to seeking NPAC-AIIPC membership.

Small Group Member:

Regular membership (full voting privileges) is conferred on all individuals who join NPAC-AIIPC via small group membership AND meet Regular Member qualifications. Small group membership is acquired through a Small Group Membership application.
