Active Research and Quality Improvement Projects

The NPAC provides ongoing opportunities for NPs – members and non-members alike – to engage in scholarship activities.

Below is a list of research and quality improvement initiatives that are actively recruiting participants.

Description: The objectives of this project are to deliver a survey to working women in Canada to:

  1. Evaluate the impact of current organizational policies and strategies on the experience of perimenopausal and menopausal women’s work.
  2. Identify the impact of perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms of Canadian women related to their work environment.
  3. Quantify the extent to which concerns are associated with work performance, absenteeism, presenteeism, and workforce retention in specific work environments and contexts.
